Registered Psychotherapist

Caryn Pushka is a Registered Psychotherapist who uses evidence-based third-wave cognitive behavioural therapy, and positive psychology, incorporating humanistic and mindfulness-based techniques in her work. 

Trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis working within the Traumatic Brain Injury and Complex Trauma Rehabilitation fields, she holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, after holding executive roles in health care, law and business. 

Focusing on work with First Responders, Caryn's practice is trauma-informed and incorporates a strength-based approach. Caryn specializes in post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, relationships, pain management, grief, adjustment issues and mindset strengthening.  

She believes that our mindset can get us through the toughest of times and allow us to truly embrace the joy life brings. Sometimes we need a little guidance to get back on track and strengthen our power from within.

She is a mother of four and a yoga and fitness enthusiast with a competitive sports background. She enjoys hiking with the family dog Ellie, time in nature and Muskoka, and is an avid skier, cyclist and traveller.
